Next Day Delivery Option

As part of our ongoing review and commitment to increasing our service level to customers, we are pleased to announce an improvement to the Delivery Options available at the checkout.

Whilst some customers are happy to wait a few days to receive their order, others require more urgent delivery of their goods, including Next Day delivery and, where appropriate, Guaranteed Next Day delivery, for those important items that must be there tomorrow.

In recognition of this, we have increased the range of delivery options available at the checkout, for consignments up to 2 KG in weight.

TreeMarker sells Mark & Measure consumables and equipment for Foresters; including sequentially Numbered Aluminium Tree Tags, Tree Marker Spray Paint, Spencer Loggers Tape, Forestry Warning Signs, Suunto Clinometers and Wedge Prism Relascopes.

As a relatively new company, our range of Forestry tools is currently small, but we are actively working to expand the range to increase the choice of products on offer.

 

FOR THOSE WHO CAN WAIT

If you’re not in a hurry for your goods and can wait, we now offer a cheaper, entry level, delivery option using Hermes on a 4-5-day delivery timescale, for consignments between 0.5 KG and 2 KG.

Orders using this delivery option can be placed up to 6pm, sometimes later, for next day collection on a 3-day delivery service (e.g. order Monday, collect Tuesday, deliver Friday).

Please note that depending on location, and whether your consignment requires a signature (for higher value orders), delivery may take longer.

 

DELIVERY IN 2-3 WORKING DAYS

For consignments up to 2 KG is called RM 2-3 Day (previously called “Standard”) and uses a combination of Royal Mail services, including Tracked 48 Hour and 2nd Class post, to deliver your goods.

With this shipping option you can reasonably expect to receive your order within 2-3 working days after placing your order.

Orders placed before 4pm, Monday – Friday, will usually be processed the same working day, in which case delivery is more likely to be in 2 working days.

 

FOR THOSE NEEDING URGENT DELIVERY

For more pressing delivery requirements, for consignments up to 2 KG we now offer two Next Day delivery options, of which one is guaranteed.

The first is a Royal Mail 24 Hour Next Day (“RM 24 Next Day”) delivery service using RM 24 Tracked. This is an anytime delivery and, in most cases, will be on the next working day, but this service level is not guaranteed and may take additional time depending on location and seasonal factors.

The cut-off time for orders to be processed using the RM 24 Tracked service is 4pm Monday – Friday.

If you require a Guaranteed Next Day Delivery, you have the option to select this at the checkout and we will send your parcel using the “Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm” service.

As the name suggests, orders placed using this delivery option are guaranteed to be delivered by 1pm the next day (excluding Sunday and Bank Holidays).

The cut-off time for orders to be processed using the Guaranteed Next Day delivery option is 12pm Monday – Friday.

 

FOR EVERYTHING ELSE

For all other consignments over 2 KG in weight, we continue to offer a “Standard” delivery service, with a delivery timescale of 2-3 working days.

 

DELIVERY COSTS

Our delivery prices are based on the costs we incur from our couriers for the range of service levels on offer and reflect the weight and dimensions of the products you buy.

 

STOCK AVAILABILITY

All items are in stock unless otherwise stated. The TreeMarker website is configured to only purchases of in stock items. If you require multiples of an item, for example aluminium tree tags numbered 1-1000, and the number you add to your cart exceeds the number in stock available to buy, this will be highlighted to you at the checkout. You will then need to amend your order quantity until the amount ordered is the same or less than the amount of stock available to buy.

We endeavour to maintain our stock levels such that we meet customer demand. But in all cases, we consider it important to manage customer expectations, and since the lead times for purchasing the stock we sell can in some cases be weeks rather than days, we prevent customers placing orders for out of stock items in order to avoid disappointment and delay.

 

Easy Checkout

The secure checkout is designed to be as simple as possible with the fewest number of clicks to complete your purchase.

You have the option to create an account with a secure password, to streamline future purchases, otherwise simply checkout as a guest.

Payment is by credit or debit card, with the option to apply for a credit account open to all registered companies and charities, subject to credit check and status (click here to download our account application form).
