We are pleased to announce that Richter Diameter Tapes are now available from TreeMarker.
In addition to our range of Spencer Logger Tapes & Refills, you can now buy Richter Diameter Tapes, also known as DBH tapes or Girth tapes, from the TreeMarker website.
Available in 2m and 5m versions, the starting selection of Diameter Tapes includes 3 cased models for measuring the circumference and diameter of trees.
DIAMETER TAPE RANGE
RICHTER METEREX 2M POCKET DIAMETER TAPE
Our entry level Diameter Tape is the Meterex brand from Richter, model no 19/2M.
This 2m pocket sized tape is a white enamelled steel diameter tape, with graduations in both centimetres and inches.
The white ABS plastic case is circular in design and measuring 50 x 50 x 15mm is small enough to fit comfortably in your pocket.
This auto-rewinding diameter tape has a white enamelled blade is 10mm wide with a lacquered finish.
The graduations are shown in black, with standard circumference measurement shown on the topside and diameter measurements shown on the underside of the tape.
RICHTER CARBON STEEL 2M POCKET DIAMETER TAPE
Also available is the carbon steel 2m pocket diameter tape from Richter, model no 20/2M.
With an easy to hold grey angular ABS plastic case, measuring 45 x 45 x 10m this is our smallest cased pocket tape.
The 6mm wide, carbon steel blade is a black diameter tape with the graduations etched in centimetres, circumference on the top and diameter measurements on the underside of the tape.
An auto-rewinding diameter tape, this 2m pocket tape is an ideal DBH tape for measuring tree girth.
RICHTER 5M TREE DIAMETER TAPE
For larger projects we offer the 5m cased diameter tape from Richter, model no 283D/5.
Made from woven fibreglass, this is a flexible diameter tape that also includes a quick release tree hook.
The yellow tape has a total length of 5m, with circumference graduations shown in cm on the top of the diameter tape, and diameter measurements on the underside of the tape in centimetres and millimetres.
With an orange PVC coated steel case, this is a robust diameter tape for measuring the circumference and diameter of larger trees.
